Saab Salomon Turbo X Trails

Can you conquer the Zone?

Where:Four events across the UK
When: May – November 2009

Hot on the heels of the Saab Salomon Hellrunner series, Salomon and Saab introduce the new Turbo X Trails races. All four events are designed to kick you out of your comfort zone through 10-12 miles of sand, mud, hills and bogs – plus a special, supremely challenging course that forms a race-within-the-race: the Turbo X-Zone. Hidden in the course, the Turbo X-Zone will be timed, and the fastest Zone racer will win a Saab adventure weekend!

The reckless terrain, breathtaking bike stunts in the village arena, and excellent prizes help make the Turbo X Trails an unforgettable experience. No one who braves the complete trail will leave empty-handed: all finishers get a quality Salomon technical T-shirt.

Saab Salomon Turbo X trails took to the tracks again this winter with one of the muddiest, wettest and toughest race yet.

Sprits were high as all competitors rose to the challenge of tough hills and declines, waist high water and bogs together with the usual cross country terrain.

These conditions saw that it was all the more important for competitors and on lookers to encourage and help one another especially through the tough Turbo X zone with a great prize up for grabs. We look forward to seeing bigger and better trails in the future.
